the second wedding i attended in the past month… it was probably an auspicious period to tie the knot… by the way… i was shooting in between dishes :)

i was shooting and shredding at my friend’s wedding last month… it was fun to spend the weekend doing my hobbies for such a joyous occasion…

our department teambuilding was held in jerejak island two fridays ago… it was exciting with numerous physical activities such as jungle trekking, flying fox, rappelling as well as navigating through an obstacle course of ropes and wires which required good balancing skills… while waiting for the boat home… we even had time for some beach soccer and volleyball… :)

yet another birthday dinner at paddington house of pancakes… mine was there too :)

the weekend was quite hectic… with a day trip to taiping with a bus load of photographers… more on that later… meanwhile… saturday was spent at queensbay for teik boon and seok lynn’s birthday celebration

after dinner… we proceeded to the super model search in support of natalie… seok lynn’s sister… who came out second in the finals on sunday… :)

initially i planned on doing this recap on the last day of last year… but as usual i was caught up with other stuff… so here it is on the first day of the new year… :)

i ushered in 2007 at esplanade singapore… and we were treated to a rather elaborate display of fireworks… that was days after i got a job offer for my current position… :) the new semester had just begun… the final one for my batch mates and i… and we were looking forward to crossing the finish line successfully… but it was not without smart work…

although it was a rather busy semester… with the bachelor's degree project and all… we still managed to go for trips to malacca and singapore… and it was sometime about then that i got obsessed with hdr and couldn't wait to enter into the world of photography…

after all the parties and procrastination for most of us… we managed to rush for the completion of our robots successfully… and the presentation day was truly the climax of our smart work over the past academic year or so… i could remember the agony of debugging failed circuits… optimizing the hovercraft's design… and literally sleepless nights typing my final report…

after our final exam… it was time to bid farewell to the people we have come to know and love… as we parted ways at the dawn of a new path…

we made our way up the peak of mount kinabalu… and i even survived rafting after many gulps of the fresh water of the rapids… sabah was a great place for the outdoors… and it was a blast of a graduation trip…

i started my first professional job the following month… the one i'm still at now… i basically sit for hours and churn code… suitable for people who love a laidback lifestyle… it is a great place with great people in many ways… and after half a year at it… i'm still doing alright…

soon after getting a few paychecks… i couldn't resist getting a dslr to start shooting and processing some hdr… photography became a new hobby of mine…

our convocation came along and it was a short and sweet weekend for some reunion with family and friends as we celebrated this joyous occasion…

the last few months of the year had their fair share of parties, vacations, outings, team-buildings, photo trips and so forth… it was tiring at times but i managed to do with limited sleep…

the year came to a close with two day of celebrations… for my birthday and the new year's eve countdown at esplanade penang this time around :)

i've hardly been at home of late… and have not been processing hdr for a couple of weeks or so already… anyway… the last couple of months saw two of our fellow comrades moving on to their respective new paths… the great times we had together… albeit in a short span of time… shall be cherished…
