i came across a couple of blogs that featured my panoramic taiping lake garden hdr shot… they can be found here and here… in a way i'm a little honoured to have some other people who like my work… amidst the many detractors i meet… anyway… it has indeed been a while since i last fired up photomatix to tweak my photos… i have been preoccupied with quite a lot of reading of late i must say… borders is the best library i could wish for…

i know i have never done any book reviews before… simply because it's been ages since i opened a book for reasons other than school and work… anyway it's a new year so here's something new… i finished getting started in value investing during my two visits to borders this week… it's straightforward and simple enough for beginners… and condenses the core philosophy of fundamental analysis by the gurus… definitely a great place to begin with for those who are interested… besides that… i finally got around to reading the immensely popular rich dad poor dad… and got to know what the hype was all about seven years back… it is an interesting eye-opener that challenges the conventional mind with philosophy that is daringly different from the usual…

it seems like the metalhead became a shutterbug and then a bookworm… but rest assured… i'm still all of the above… :)
