the weekend was quite an eventful one… i managed to get a 50mm f/1.8 lens at a reasonable price after much haggling… and well besides that there was a whole lot of hanging out around town… clubbing… eating… hdr-ing… crossing over to the mainland by ferry just for fun… below are a couple of photos of dinner at chili's taken with the new lens… the ones below were taken with the standard kit lens…

queen street in singapore has a number of churches… one of which is st joseph's church… my family and i were on our way for sunday mass at another nearby cathedral last weekend when we stopped by here to look around…

the moment we had all been waiting for… after the blood sweat and tears of the past five years… so many memories and experiences that we will truly cherish as we look back in years to come… the hard(ly) work(ing) has definitely paid off… congratulations to all!

we had a farewell dinner for a colleague of mine sometime last week… after a short stint with us… he left in search for greener pastures… all the best to him…

some old buddies of mine stayed over for the weekend and it was fun to hang out and just unwind by the beach enjoying the sea breeze at night… besides stuffing ourselves with good food of course :)

second time in three nights… it has been a great weekend hanging out… it's time to get some rest in preparation for the upcoming workload… and another hectic weekend back in university come this saturday…

it was friday and i finally left the office in the evening to start enjoying the weekend… i drove around my area to look for some interesting sights… there were not many though… instead i came home with more mosquito bites then pretty photos… anyway… here's a dilapidated observation deck (sort of) overlooking the sea at batu maung…

i joined some friends for a last-minute outing to bukit tambun for seafood… and some drinks in autocity… it's been a tiring day at work and out… it's great that the weekend is finally here… more time to hdr perhaps… the picture of soho below is a pseudo-hdr from a single freehand raw… i probably need to improve on my techniques :)
