it's been an absolutely packed week… and weekend… in the midst of all the long hours at the office daily except sunday… i still managed to hang out at queensbay four times and gurney twice over a span of six days last week… and i've been eating a lot… especially when the others at the table tend to be unable to finish their food… i've been helping to lick plates clean for many consecutive days now i think… from pizza hut to tgif to dimsum…

i met up with an ex-colleague for dinner at pastasia some days back… well… now i know why that fusion joint is empty most of the time… i don't have pictures of my spaghetti though… it was totally not appealing enough for that price… anyway… here are some pics from tgif with uni mates… and dimsum with colleagues…

a couple of days back i met up with my friend over lunch break at sakae sushi… but i didn't have my cam with me so no pictures to drool over this time… it was a nice place… and i probably should return next time… especially if they have a buffet…

we had more salsa today… and the moves were a little more complex… in the midst of the dances… i realized that my employee access card was nowhere to be found… and i soon began a futile hunt around the premises… i still wonder how i could have dropped it… anyway… it ruined the mood… and i can't wait to get it back… hopefully i will tomorrow…

speaking of dances… all the best to kimfluttersby for her finals tomorrow… i sure hope u make it to the top…  i wish i could party at maison too… :)

after another long week at work for the new alterians… we chilled out at… erm… chill out… and i even got a free jd flask which i've always thought was pretty cool… speaking of electronica and club music… here's quite an in-depth resource on its various genres…

my coursemates and i traveled all the way to balik pulau for some delicious laksa… most of us had two bowls each… asam and siamese…

the weekend is almost over… at least i got to recuperate and relax…

it's been a fun week at work… apart from the endless classes that span over the fourteen hours i spend at the office daily… the cad department had a japanese buffet at tao… it was great… not to mention fully sponsored too :)

on another note… i joined the weekly dance lesson which will last for the next three months… we learnt a couple of salsa moves for starters… interesting indeed…

it has been a hectic first week at work… packed with training classes that last to the night… sundays are the only days of rest i've got for this whole month… so here i am finally writing something… the place and people are nice… so it seems like i'm gonna have a great time at the office… having a huge dell widescreen is a plus point :)

just like the other new hires… i've got a lot to catch up on… linux command line interface… vi editing… and a whole lot of stuff that are just waiting around the corner once i get a grip on the basics first… absorbing and retaining all the new information will take a while i guess…

working life has begun… we're still warming up with orientation and training sessions this week… i have classes on most of the nights for a whole month… many long days ahead for us new hires… anyway… the past week has been quite occupied… was in kl for the weekend… before shifting into my new room just yesterday… it's spacious indeed… anyway… here are some pictures of dinner at indulgence a couple of days back…
