it has been quite an interesting year… with phases and seasons… i hope i have grown to be wiser… at least just a little bit if not much… and once again… i… and all of us in final year… are at the crossroads of our lives… as we approach the new year… where we will be stepping into another world… it has come to the point in our lives where we shall be independent… maturity and responsibility will be very important words… for the time has come to step out of the shell and embrace adulthood…

it was a sumptuous seafood dinner and a hilarious movie with my coursemates… thank you guys for the treat… and also the previous night's dinner which was on the ever-faithful serpent supporter… thank you too…

a letter arrived today… it is one that has made the perfect gift for this day… such flawless timing… it is a path to a promising future… and i wish the best for everyone in the coming year…

happy 2007! time to party! 

it has been a very merry and busy christmas… and this time around… even the traditional star atop the tree has been replaced with the baby's balloon… the final week in ipoh were pretty hectic… especially the past few days… with family reunions during the winter festival and christmas… and so many friends to meet in such limited time…

i covered four cities in the past two days… i was in penang for a day trip to settle some pressing matters… and i dropped by in kl for a couple of hours during the drive down south… there has been much travelling indeed…

i got a handmade present from my sadist friend… which now hangs by the shelf in my room… it's colourful and cute… something to decorate my otherwise dull room :)

it's been a week filled with various activities… going to the doc's as i was sick for a couple of days… lending a helping hand around the house… or rather… finger (considering i don't do much)… and becoming the designated driver when the need arose… christmas is just twenty-four hours away and everyone will be home… and it will be merrier and busier…

next week will be even more hectic… with all the packing… and all the travelling that i shall be doing… to the north and then to the south… school's reopening on tuesday but i shan't be back till thursday since there are more pressing matters…

and yeah… my new 120gb hdd is filling fast… i've 50gb of movies in it now as i ran out of dvds to burn them into… and i guess it shall be full to the brim by the time i return to uni… :)

it was an enjoyable and refreshing weekend at cameron's… with the cooling weather… strawberry ice-cream… fresh tomatoes and corn… and steamboat dinner… i could not ask for a more peaceful retreat…

the latest two builds are hovering and moving forward! i'm a little relieved… the problem now lies with the weight of the batteries onboard which is hampering its mobility… well… i shall take a rest for these couple of days… and retreat to the mountains… :)

i'm still in the capital… and i decided to post some pics up… taking advantage of the broadband here… rather than to do so another time on dialup when i get home… connection's blazing fast unlike my broadband in pulai… anyway… these few days have been spent in the hospital… stuck in jams… and obtaining parts for my project… hence… the many building pics taken from inside the car… some of which are here…

i shopped around at jalan pasar before heading to the hospital… there were some high-speed dc motors on sale and i got three of them… hopefully i wouldn't have to buy anymore… it's certainly taxing… having to scour the streets searching high and low for parts from time to time… only to find out that they're not suitable… got some batteries at a pretty reasonable price too…

after lunch at the food court along that road… we paid a visit at the hospital… 

and finally… after all these years… i got the chance to have sate at the town most famous for it…
